INTERACTIVE CHAT

NEUROCON

The use of interactive chat in real time, for direct and global communication through text-conference will allow us to provide the greatest possibilities of interaction between the attendants and participants.UNINet (Network of University Servers) makes its experience and infrastructure available for the organization of this area. We have opened a #NeuroCon channel in the IRC server bio.hgy.es to initially assist organization and circulation work.

The official languages in NeuroCon are spanish and portuguese.

Instructions to use NeuroCon:

For connection, you should have a chat programme (IRC) installed in your computer. If you do not have a suitable programme or you are not familiar with IRC chat, you may read this document (in spanish) to clarify your doubts. For further information about IRC chat, consult this address.

One of the following servers available in Uninet should be specified in your chat programme (IRC). It is better to select the nearest to where your Internet supplier is located.

Once connected, you should select channel #neurocon.

The times of all activities in the NeuroCon channel, both in the preliminary phase of the congress and during its development will be communicated through the electronic mail list and the congress bulletin.

The NeuroCon logotype (designed by David Ezpeleta) shows a sagittal cut of the diencephalon and callosum. This tries to establish a comparison between the Virtual Community of neurologists talking through IRC chat and the functions of integration, relay and neural communication of such structures.

The manager of NeuroCon chat is David Ezpeleta Echávarri dezpeleta@cvneuro.org
