NORMS FOR THE AUTHORS

The manuscripts will have to be in agreement to the Requirements of Uniformity for manuscripts submitted to Biomedical Magazines, published among others, in: 

  • Ann Int Med 1997;126:36-47 
  • NEJM 1997; 336:309-315 
  • Br Med J 1988;296: 401-405
  • The summaries in English (and the original language), will have up to 350 words, and must include: 
  • Title of the presentation 
  • Full name of each author 
  • Names of the center or institution where they made the work 
  • Electronic and postal direction of the author to whom will be due to direct to the correspondence 
  • Source of any support or funding received.
  • and structured in:
  • Introduction, 
  • Materials and Methods, 
  • Results, 
  • Conclusions 
  • Each presentation must include a letter that clearly identifies the responsible person (with the mailing dress and the telephone number), pointing out that the final manuscript has been approved by all his the authors. 

    The summaries of the works (free communications, posters, conferences, etc) must be presented/displayed in some of the following formats: 

  • Text (.txt) 
  • Word 95-97 (.doc) 
  • Word for Macintosh (.doc) 
  • Word Perfect 5.0 (.wp5) 
  • Rich Format Text (.RTF) 
  • HTML Format. 
  • and the images must be in format gif, jpg, or tif. It must be taken into account that large pictures will be slow download in the internet.

    The works can be sent by: 

  • electronic mail to neuropsico@uninet.edu, like text in the body of the message or like attached archives (" attachment ").
  • ordinary postal mail in a diskette of 1.4 MB to the direction:

  • Date limit for reception of abstract will be September 15, 1999 

    Authors must reveal any economic support that could give origin to a conflict of interest.

    Intellectual property: 

    The intellectual property of the works accepted by the Scientific Committee remains with the authors, who authorize to the Congress to publish their work in the pages of the Congress and summaries in the "Revista Española de Neuropsicología".

    It is allowed to transfer manuscripts from the Web pages or the CDROM but the manuscripts cannot be reproduced in any other electronic or mechanical format such us photocopies, recordings or other means of diffusion without permission of the author and publisher.
