• Reference data still under construction (Sorgel et al, 1997; O’Sullivan et al, 1999; Lurbe et al, 2000)

• Good accuracy and reproductibility (Lurbe et al, 1999)

• Actual definitions of sleep/wake periods are necessary for accurate sleep BP decline determination (Eissa et al,2001)

• Prevalence of WCH in children is consistent with levels reported in adults (Sorof et al,2000)

• LVMI and LVH are more closely related to 24-hr SBP than with casual SBP (Belsha et al, 1998); LVH can be predicted by initial ambulatory systolic parameters (Kapuku et al, 1999)

• White coat normotension (Koch et al, 2000)
